POISE at White Room KK Times Square

When I received a message from a friend informing me of an event organised by his friend and asked if I would be interested to be the event’s photographer I didn’t say yes there and then, but instead I went online and googled “POISE” to find out more of it. I eventually agreed and the rest as they say, is history. My profound thanks to Joshua a.k.a Josh Marciano for your trust and an awesome event, bro F and the rest of my fellow photographers and paparazzis for the night.

Pump up the volume.. here we go!

Photoshoot with Joyce

There were few things I did for the first time for the shoot and the post processing. The use of an external flash, a wireless remote trigger and a wig! Whilst it was the first time I truly utilised (and discovered) that Photoshop rocks! My thanks to my model of the day, Joyce Foo.

Mae & Asun’s Wedding

My long time friend got married to her sweetheart in October 2008 and I had the privilege to be there and be part of her entourage. I even willingly offered myself as the ‘unofficial’ photographer which gave me access to run around her house and the church! The only thing is, this is one of the first public appearance I made with a borrowed dslr and most guests thought I WAS the official photographer!

George Yong is one of Sabah’s young pro wedding photographers who is also a member of the internationally renowned WPPI (Wedding & Portrait Photographers International). His interpretation and attitude towards ‘light & shadow’ and how he embraced and utilised these two elements resulted in amazing and breathtaking photographs.

Hobbycon 2009

Heard about this interesting event long before it scheduled date. Even had a reminder to check it out – which I did! I personally was interested in the ‘cosplay’ part of it simply because these individuals spent a lot of effort in their attire and make up. And they model too!
